Electrical safety testing is an important part of quality control for electrical products. Products such as adapters, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), chargers, household appliances, IT equipment and video equipment require electrical safety testing.

The Chroma 19032 series combines high-voltage withstand testing (Hipot), insulation resistance measurement (IR), ground bond testing (GB), leakage current testing (LC/AC LC/DC LC) and dynamic function testing in one instrument series.

By combining multiple test functions in a single instrument, the need for separate test equipment can be reduced. According to Chroma, this can save up to 50% of production line space, improve electrical safety testing efficiency and reduce associated labour costs.

The series is used for testing power cords, power supplies, LED drivers, household appliances, IT equipment, medical equipment, electric vehicles and solar PV inverters.
