The Tekbox TBMA1C is a wideband biconical measurement antenna designed for EMC pre-compliance testing and radiated emission analysis. The antenna covers the frequency range from 20 MHz to 1 GHz and features a directional pattern similar to a dipole antenna.
TBMA1C is intended for use with spectrum analyzers and EMC test equipment in laboratory and development environments. The antenna is suitable for radiated noise measurements, identification of emission sources, and generation of defined field strengths during EMC testing.
The antenna utilizes a broadband balun with 1:2 transformer and 1:1 balun matching, providing a nominal impedance of 50 Ω and an N-type female RF connector. The lightweight construction features corrosion-resistant antenna elements with mechanical locking against rotation. A standard 1/4" thread enables mounting on common tripods.
TBMA1C is supplied in a rugged aluminum carrying case for transport and storage. The antenna is characterized from 20 MHz to 1 GHz with documented antenna factor and isotropic gain data for EMC measurements at 1 m and 3 m distances.
