Tekbox TBLDS1 Load Dump Simulator
Load dump simulator for EMC pre-compliance testing according to ISO 7637-2, ISO 16750-2 and SAE J2139 with adjustable pulse timing for 12 V and 24 V systems.
The Tekbox TBLDS1 is a load dump simulator designed for EMC pre-compliance testing of automotive electronic systems. It generates load dump transients according to ISO 7637-2, ISO 16750-2 and SAE J2139 and is intended for design verification prior to formal compliance testing.
The simulator features adjustable rise and fall times, allowing the transient waveform to be adapted to different test scenarios. Pulses can be generated either as a single event or as a sequence of five pulses with 10-second intervals for repeatable verification during product development.
The TBLDS1 requires external power supplies for both the equipment under test and the transient source and incorporates a galvanically isolated internal power supply via USB-C. It supports testing of 12 V and 24 V automotive systems with maximum load currents of 3 A and 1.5 A respectively.
