The Chauvin Arnoux MA194-250 is a flexible Rogowski-type current sensor (MiniFlex) designed for AC current measurement in combination with compatible power and energy loggers from Chauvin Arnoux. Developed as an accessory for the Qualistar and PEL series, this sensor is ideal for current measurements in applications where traditional rigid current clamps are difficult to install.
The flexible Rogowski coil allows for easy mounting around conductors in tight spaces and around large cable dimensions. With a very wide measurement range from 100 mA to 10 kA AC, the MA194-250 is suitable for both low and high-current measurements in industrial electrical installations, distribution systems, and power networks.
The current sensor features Chauvin Arnoux's patented connector, which enables the connected instrument to automatically identify the sensor type and the correct measurement range. This simplifies setup, minimizes the risk of configuration errors, and ensures reliable measurement results. The Rogowski coil is powered directly from the instrument via the connection, requiring no external power supply.
The MA194-250 is delivered in a black finish and includes a color-coding kit for clear phase identification during multi-phase measurements. The sensor is intended for use with both legacy and current models in the PEL and Qualistar series, where flexible current measurement and high current capacity are required.
