The DS Instruments SW1204 is a compact and reliable solid-state RF switch designed for fast and precise signal routing in automated test environments and research applications.
The switch features four SMA ports (SP4T configuration) and operates over a frequency range of 10 MHz to 12 GHz with a non-reflective topology, maintaining impedance matching even when ports are inactive.
Maximum RF power is +33 dBm (2 W) on through paths and +27 dBm on terminated ports, with low insertion loss of approximately 2.5 dB and typical isolation of 40 dB at 6 GHz.
The unit is powered and controlled via USB Type-C and supports remote operation using SCPI commands through a virtual COM interface. Ethernet connectivity for network control is included as standard.
The solid-state design provides fast switching speed, high reliability and no moving parts. The SW1204 is suitable for antenna, satellite and RF system testing, as well as production and research applications within telecommunications, radar and defense.
