Haefely DIP 116 Voltage Dip Transformer
Single-phase transformer for simulating voltage dips and short interruptions per IEC/EN 61000-4-11/-4-29, 264 V AC, 16 A continuous, controlled via AXOS 5/8.
IEC / EN 61000-4-11, IEC / EN 61000-4-29
- Single phase transformer
- Maximum input voltage on L-N:
- 264 V AC @ 50/60 Hz
- Max. input current:
- 16 A AC continuous (100%)
- Automatic control
DIP 116 is a single-phase transformer with automatic dips and can be used to simulate power interruptions such as voltage interruptions, designed as an accessory compatible with AXOS 5 / AXOS 8.
Voltage drops and short interruptions are caused by faults in the network, mainly short circuits, installations or by sudden large changes in the load. In some cases, two or more consecutive drops or outages may occur. Voltage variations are caused by continuously varying loads connected to the grid.
The DIP 116 has an independent connection to an external power supply via banana plugs. Once the setting is complete, it can be controlled fully automatically via the touch screen of the AXOS 5 / AXOS8 when you are in the "Voltage Dips" menu bar. Once detected, the recommended dip percentage value (given by default) can be programmed in the AXOS menu.
- Break Levels: ( 0%, 40%, 70%, 80%) from Vin
- DIP 116 with AXOS 5 / AXOS 8 to easily perform pre-compliance evaluation or certification testing for
- AC (only) drops and cuts out.
- Application: IEC/EN 61000-4-11: AC drops and interruptions
- Class 1 ~
- Class 3 (preferred test levels and durations for voltage dips and short interruptions).
