Hioki RM3544 Resistance Meter
Resistance meter for four-terminal measurements up to 3.5 MΩ, with 1 µΩ resolution, 0.02% basic accuracy and measurement current up to 300 mA.
The Hioki RM3544 is a benchtop resistance meter designed for accurate measurement of low and high resistance values in production testing, adjustment and acceptance inspections. The instrument uses four-terminal measurement and offers nine measurement ranges, with a maximum resolution of 1 µΩ and basic accuracy of 0.02%.
The RM3544 is suitable for measuring winding resistance in motors and transformers, contact resistance in relays and switches, and resistance in fuses, resistors and conductive materials.

Measurement Functions
The instrument features automatic or manual range selection and a comparator function for evaluating measurement results against predefined limits. Results are displayed on the instrument's LCD screen and can be indicated by audible signals or an optional LED comparator attachment.
Temperature correction allows measured resistance values to be converted to a selected reference temperature. This function requires the optional Z2001 temperature sensor.
The RM3544 is ready for measurement immediately after power-up, without requiring a warm-up period.
Communication and Automation
The RM3544-01 provides RS-232C and USB interfaces for transferring measurement data and remote control from a computer. The model also includes an isolated EXT I/O interface supporting NPN/PNP configurations and output modes for comparator results or BCD data.
For automated testing, the RM3544-01 can complete a measurement and judgment cycle in as little as 18 ms at a 60 Hz power line frequency.
Included accessories: Power cord, L2101 clip-type test leads, instruction manual and spare fuse. The RM3544-01 additionally includes a USB cable, EXT I/O connector and application software.
