The PicoScope 3000E Series is a range of USB-powered PC oscilloscopes offering up to 500 MHz bandwidth, 5 GS/s sampling rate and up to 2 GS capture memory in a compact and portable form factor.
The instruments are designed for advanced debugging, validation and analysis of analog and power electronic designs as well as embedded systems, both in laboratory environments and in the field. The series includes models with four analog channels as well as MSO variants with an additional 16 digital channels for time-correlated analysis of analog and digital signals.
The high sampling rate combined with deep memory enables detailed capture of both fast transients and long-duration signal events. With up to 2 GS memory, high sampling rates can be maintained over extended timebases, which is essential for analyzing complex signals and serial communications.
The PicoScope 3000E Series provides up to 10-bit hardware resolution, which can be enhanced to 14 bits using software-based resolution enhancement. This allows accurate analysis of small signal variations and noise even when superimposed on larger signals.
All models include an integrated function and arbitrary waveform generator as well as advanced digital triggering with support for complex conditions such as pulse width, runt, logic and window triggering. The digital trigger architecture ensures high precision and stable triggering even at high frequencies.
The included PicoScope 7 software provides a comprehensive analysis environment with advanced math functions, mask testing, DeepMeasure™ for cycle-based analysis and FFT spectrum analysis. More than 40 serial protocols are supported as standard, enabling simultaneous decoding across multiple channels.
Segmented memory and fast waveform update rates allow capture of up to 40,000 waveforms in rapid succession, supporting the detection of infrequent events and intermittent faults. Hardware-accelerated rendering enables waveform update rates of up to 300,000 waveforms per second.
The USB-C interface provides both power and data connectivity via a single cable, simplifying setup in portable and space-constrained environments. Support for PicoSDK enables integration with custom software as well as third-party tools such as LabVIEW and MATLAB.
The PicoScope 3000E Series is a complete measurement solution where advanced features such as serial decoding, math functions, mask testing and signal generation are included as standard, without the need for additional software licenses.
