The Rigol RSA814 is a compact spectrum analyser supporting both conventional swept spectrum analysis (GPSA) and real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA). It covers a frequency range from 5 kHz to 14 GHz and offers up to 40 MHz real-time bandwidth. The instrument can detect signals with a duration as short as 5.62 µs with 100% POI. With the built-in preamplifier enabled, the RSA814 provides a typical DANL down to −168 dBm.
The built-in tracking generator covers 100 kHz to 14 GHz with an adjustable output level from −40 to 0 dBm. In addition to GPSA and RTSA, the instrument can be expanded with optional applications for vector signal analysis (VSA), EMI measurements, analogue demodulation (ADM), phase noise analysis and additional advanced measurement functions.
The RSA800 series is designed for signal analysis in applications including wireless communications, automotive electronics and IoT, as well as R&D, production, maintenance and education. Its compact format and support for USB-C or power bank operation make it suitable for both laboratory and field measurements.
