About Instrumentcenter Sweden AB
Instrumentcenter’s history dates back to 1974, when Elinstrument was founded with a focus on service and calibration of measuring instruments. In 1981, Instrumentcenter was established in Arboga with a focus on the sale of test and measurement instruments. Two operations with different starting points, but with a shared technical foundation.
In 2005, the companies were merged, forming today’s Instrumentcenter, where the sale of test and measurement instruments is combined with traceable calibration.
Since 2015, Instrumentcenter Sweden AB has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Tillquist Group AB. The group affiliation has strengthened the organisation and contributed to a clearer technical focus.
The acquisition of Multical in 2017 expanded the calibration operations and enabled on-site calibration at customer premises. For organisations with larger instrument fleets, this allows calibration to be carried out collectively, without transport and with limited impact on daily operations.
Today, Instrumentcenter supplies test and measurement instruments to development and manufacturing companies within power electronics, the electronics industry, research and laboratory environments. Traceable calibration is carried out at the laboratory in Nyköping or on-site at customer premises. Instruments are also available for rental for temporary needs and projects.
The ambition is to be a long-term partner with strong technical expertise, carefully selected suppliers and a clear customer focus.
Instrumentcenter’s office and calibration laboratory are located in Nyköping, approximately 100 km south of Stockholm.
