The Megger TC256P is a compact thermal camera for non-contact inspection and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and HVAC equipment. The camera features a 256 × 192 pixel infrared detector, thermal sensitivity of 45 mK and a temperature measurement range from -20 to 550 °C.
The TC256P features a 3.5-inch LCD colour touchscreen and an integrated 5 MP digital camera. InfraRed, Visible Light, Multi-Image Fusion and Picture-in-Picture modes provide different ways to visualise temperature distribution. The camera also features digital zoom up to 8× and a laser for indication and distance measurement. An integrated area calculation function can be used for rectangular objects.
Images with temperature information can be stored in the 16 GB internal memory. Wi-Fi connectivity allows the camera to connect to a mobile device for image and real-time video transmission. ThermoLink for PC and the Thermography app for iOS and Android are supported for further handling of measurement data.
The TC256P weighs 296 g and is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing up to 4 hours of operation. The camera has an IP54 rating and is tested to withstand drops from a height of 1 metre.
