The Megger TC256 is a thermal camera for thermographic inspection of electrical installations, machinery, heating and cooling systems, and buildings. The camera features a 256 × 192 pixel infrared detector and Megger's IR-Perfclear technology, providing real-time super-resolution reconstruction up to 512 × 384 pixels.
The temperature measurement range extends from -20 to 550 °C, with automatic switching between the -20 to 150 °C and 0 to 550 °C ranges. The TC256 features automatic focusing and an integrated 2 MP digital camera, with support for InfraRed, Visible Light, Multi-Image Fusion and Picture-in-Picture display modes.
Images and videos can be stored in the 16 GB internal memory. Images are saved in JPG format with temperature information, while videos can be stored in IRGD format for further analysis using the ThermoLink PC application. Wi-Fi connectivity also enables image and real-time video transmission to mobile devices using the Thermography app.
The TC256 is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing up to 11 hours of operation, has an IP54 rating and is tested to withstand drops from a height of 2 metres.
