The Hioki LR8534 is a 5-channel wireless measurement module for strain measurements with the LR8450-01 Data Logger. The module supports strain gauges and strain gauge-based transducers for recording mechanical deformation and loads.
Up to seven LR8534 modules can be connected wirelessly to a single LR8450-01, providing a total of 35 channels. When combined with four U8554 modules, the system can be expanded to a total of 55 channels.
The module supports quarter-bridge configurations with two- or three-wire connections, half-bridge and full-bridge configurations. It features 16-bit A/D resolution and an update interval as short as 1 ms. Strain measurements are supported across eight ranges from ±1,000 µε to ±200,000 µε. The module also supports voltage measurements across ranges from 1 mV to 200 mV.
The LR8534 features spring-cage terminals for secure signal connections. Wireless communication allows the module to be positioned close to measurement points, including confined or hard-to-reach locations. Power is supplied via an AC adapter or an optional battery pack.
