The Hioki LR8533 is a 5-channel wireless high-speed module for DC voltage measurements with the LR8450-01 Data Logger. The module is designed to measure rapidly changing voltage signals, such as those from pressure and vibration sensors.
Up to seven LR8533 modules can be connected wirelessly to a single LR8450-01, providing a total of 35 channels. When combined with four U8553 modules, the system can be expanded to a total of 55 channels.
The module features 16-bit A/D resolution and a 1 ms update interval for all five channels simultaneously. DC voltage measurements are supported across seven ranges from ±100 mV to ±100 V, with a maximum direct input voltage of 100 V DC. The module also supports measurement of 4–20 mA signals using an external 250 Ω shunt resistor.
The LR8533 features M3 screw terminals for secure connections, including conductors with larger cross-sections. The module provides 300 V isolation between channels and to earth.
Wireless communication allows the module to be positioned close to measurement points, including confined or hard-to-reach locations. Measurement data is transmitted to the LR8450-01 for recording and analysis. Power is supplied via an AC adapter or an optional battery pack.
