The Hioki LR8530 is a 15-channel wireless measurement module for DC voltage and temperature measurements with the LR8450-01 Data Logger. Each channel can be individually configured for voltage measurement or temperature measurement using thermocouples.
Up to seven LR8530 modules can be connected wirelessly to a single LR8450-01, providing a total of 105 channels. When combined with four U8550 modules, the system can be expanded to a total of 165 channels.
The module features 16-bit A/D resolution and an update interval as short as 10 ms. DC voltage measurements are supported across nine ranges from ±10 mV to ±100 V, with a maximum direct input voltage of 100 V DC.
The LR8530 features M3 screw terminals for secure connections, including conductors with larger cross-sections. The module provides 300 V isolation between channels and to earth and supports temperature measurements using thermocouple types K, J, E, T, N, R, S, B and C.
Wireless communication allows the module to be positioned close to measurement points, including confined or hard-to-reach locations. Power is supplied via an AC adapter or an optional battery pack.
