The Hioki LR8450 is a modular multi-channel data logger designed for advanced data acquisition in research, product development, vehicle testing and industrial applications. The system supports up to four plug-in modules and can be expanded to a total of 120 analog measurement channels and 8 pulse/logic inputs.

The instrument supports measurement of voltage, current, temperature, humidity, resistance, strain, heat flow, pulse signals, CAN and CAN FD data. When used together with Hioki current sensors, up to 20 AC/DC current channels can be connected for accurate power and energy measurements.

The integrated 16-bit A/D converter provides high measurement accuracy, while logging intervals down to 1 ms enable reliable capture of rapidly changing signals. All compatible modules support direct voltage inputs up to 100 V with 300 V AC/DC CAT II isolation to earth.

Measurement data can be monitored in real time on the integrated 7-inch TFT display and stored on SD cards or USB storage devices. The Gigabit LAN interface enables fast data transfer, while optional battery operation provides flexibility for both stationary and mobile measurement applications.
