Applications
The Hioki BT3554-92 is a measurement set consisting of the BT3554-50 battery tester, the included L2020 angled pin type test lead and the Z3210 Bluetooth adapter. It is designed for measurement of DC voltage, AC internal resistance at 1 kHz and temperature, enabling fast and reliable assessment of battery condition without disconnecting the battery from the system.
The tester provides two voltage ranges (6 V and 60 V) and four resistance ranges from 3 mΩ to 3 Ω, making it suitable for a wide range of battery types and capacities. Measurements are completed in less than two seconds, allowing efficient testing in confined or hard-to-reach environments. Built-in noise reduction ensures stable and accurate results even in electrically noisy conditions.
The integrated comparator function (PASS, WARNING, FAIL) provides immediate evaluation of battery condition based on user-defined thresholds. Measurement results can be stored in the internal memory with capacity for up to 6000 records.
With the included Z3210 adapter, measurement data can be transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth to mobile devices for documentation and further analysis using the GENNECT Cross app. The instrument can also be connected to a PC via USB for data management using the GENNECT One software or for direct transfer to applications such as Excel via HID functionality.
The instrument is designed for field use and includes features such as auto-hold and auto-memory, automatically capturing and storing measurement results without user interaction. The included angled test lead improves accessibility in confined installations such as battery racks and UPS systems.
