• Product Description

The Hioki BT3554-52 is a measurement set consisting of the BT3554-50 battery tester and the included L2020 angled pin type test lead. It is designed for measurement of DC voltage, AC internal resistance at 1 kHz and temperature, enabling fast and reliable assessment of battery condition without disconnecting the battery from the system.

The tester provides two voltage ranges (6 V and 60 V) and four resistance ranges from 3 mΩ to 3 Ω, making it suitable for a wide range of battery types and capacities. Measurements are completed in less than two seconds, allowing efficient testing in confined or hard-to-reach environments. Built-in noise reduction ensures stable and accurate results even in electrically noisy conditions.

The integrated comparator function (PASS, WARNING, FAIL) provides immediate evaluation of battery condition based on user-defined thresholds. Measurement results can be stored in the internal memory with capacity for up to 6000 records.

For documentation and analysis, the instrument can be connected to a PC via USB or used with the optional Z3210 adapter for wireless data transfer to mobile devices via the GENNECT Cross app. With the GENNECT One software, measurement data can be managed, analyzed and exported, or transferred directly to applications such as Excel using HID functionality.

The instrument is designed for field use and includes features such as auto-hold and auto-memory, automatically capturing and storing measurement results without user interaction. The angled test lead improves accessibility in confined installations such as battery racks and UPS systems.
