Terms and Conditions

Prices
Prices on the website of Instrumentcenter Sweden AB are exclusive of VAT.
We reserve the right to adjust prices due to circumstances beyond our control.

 

Payment Terms
Sales to companies are subject to credit approval and invoicing with payment due thirty (30) days from the invoice date.
If credit is not approved, payment is required in advance.
In the event of late payment, interest on overdue amounts will be charged in accordance with applicable legislation.
Orders for direct payment by credit card are not currently accepted.
Sales to private individuals are limited to Sweden and require advance payment (Swish/Bankgiro).

 

Delivery Time
If the item is in stock, delivery time is normally 1–3 working days within Sweden.
If the item is not in stock or is made to order, delivery time will be longer depending on supplier availability.
If parts of an order are temporarily out of stock, the order may be placed on back order in full or delivered in part. The decision to part-deliver or await full delivery depends on order size, delivery time and whether an item is usable on its own.

Delivery Terms
Delivery terms are Ex Works, Sweden (Incoterms 2020).

 

Shipping Costs (Webshop)
A fixed shipping fee of SEK 185 applies to all orders, regardless of order value or destination within Sweden.
Exceptions apply to deliveries of workbenches and trolleys.
Customer-arranged shipping can also be used upon request.

 

Small Order Surcharge
Orders below SEK 1,000 (excluding VAT) are subject to a surcharge of SEK 500.

 

Calibration Fee
A start-up fee of SEK 600 per order is always charged for calibration.
For additional purchase terms, please refer to the order form under Calibration.

 

Technical Support
Technical support, including general assistance and product-related issues, is in most cases handled by Instrumentcenter Sweden AB. However, we reserve the right to refer customers to the respective manufacturer when required.
Contact details for manufacturers and suppliers are provided by our technical support.
Please note that support may be provided in English and, in some cases, only via email or websites.

 

Warranty
Warranties are provided by the respective manufacturer.
Instrumentcenter Sweden AB provides no additional warranties beyond those specified by the manufacturer.
Return shipping is covered by Instrumentcenter Sweden AB in valid warranty cases.
A copy of the invoice must always be included when claiming warranty.

 

Service and Repairs
For service or repair of products purchased from Instrumentcenter Sweden AB, please contact our order department before returning any item.
A copy of the invoice must always be included when claiming warranty.

 

Liability for Defects
In the event of defects for which Instrumentcenter Sweden AB is responsible, we undertake, at our discretion, to remedy the defect by repair, replacement or refund.
We reserve the right to refer the customer directly to the manufacturer for corrective action where necessary.
Our liability is limited to what is stated in these terms and conditions. Instrumentcenter Sweden AB shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, including but not limited to delivery delays, product-related damage, loss of profit, operational disruption, additional work or other financial loss.
Please note that support and fault reporting may be in English and, in some cases, only available via email or websites.

 

Force Majeure
Instrumentcenter Sweden AB shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control and shall be entitled to an extension of time for performance.
Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, strikes, acts of terrorism, war, supplier, transport or production disruptions, currency fluctuations, government actions or natural disasters.
If such circumstances persist for more than three months, either party has the right to terminate the agreement without compensation.

 

Claims
If goods are damaged upon delivery, this must be reported immediately to the carrier.
If insured, the claim must also be reported to the recipient’s insurance company.
Other claims must be reported without delay to our order department.
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods upon receipt.
For claims, complete the claim form and send it to info@instrumentcenter.se
 together with the invoice.
A copy of the form must also be included with the returned item.

Returns
Purchased goods may be returned or exchanged within 14 days from the date of delivery.
Items must be returned in undamaged condition, in original packaging and with shipping paid.
The right of return does not apply to special-order items not included in standard supplier assortments or otherwise non-returnable items.
In the event of order cancellation, the customer is responsible for all incurred transport costs.

 

Other
All information is provided subject to possible typographical errors, currency fluctuations, supplier price changes, incorrect technical specifications or inability of the manufacturer to deliver the ordered item.
A service fee of SEK 475 (excluding VAT) is charged for collection of shipments from a service point.
Unclaimed shipments are subject to a fee of SEK 300 (excluding VAT) plus shipping.
