The Fluke Ti480U is a professional thermal imager in the Fluke Classic Ultra Series, designed for thermal inspections, industrial maintenance, and troubleshooting. It features an IR resolution of 640 × 480 pixels and SuperResolution for images up to 1280 × 960 pixels. With a thermal sensitivity of 50 mK, the camera can display small temperature differences and fine detail in thermal images.

UltraFocus technology provides fast and reliable focusing, even in complex scenes. The camera can automatically focus in as little as one second based on temperature differences, combined with laser-assisted targeting and continuous autofocus. Manual focusing is also available when greater control over the image is required.

The Ti480U measures temperatures from −20 °C to 1200 °C and provides 1–10× digital zoom for inspecting targets at a distance. Temperature analysis functions include 16 spots, 8 lines, and 12 measurement areas, as well as automatic high and low temperature tracking. Corrections can be applied for emissivity, ambient temperature, reflected temperature, relative humidity, measurement distance, and IR windows.

The integrated 13 MP digital camera can be combined with the thermal image using IR-Fusion, with an adjustable blending level from 0 to 100%. Picture-in-Picture is also supported, with adjustable infrared window size, position, and blending. Images can be supplemented with voice, text, and label annotations, while QR codes can be scanned and used as labels.

The Ti480U supports fully radiometric thermal video recording for subsequent analysis, as well as remote display and remote operation via software. SmartView IR software for PC enables thermal video processing, data analysis, and report generation. Connectivity includes Bluetooth, USB, and HDMI, while a 64 GB Micro SD card is supplied as standard and can be expanded to 128 GB.

The thermal imager is rated IP52 and designed to withstand a 1 m drop. Its replaceable rechargeable lithium battery provides approximately 2–3 hours of operation, depending on settings and usage.
