The Megger PAT250 series consists of two handheld portable appliance testers designed for electrical safety testing of appliances and equipment. The instruments are suitable for use in facilities management, industrial environments, offices and service applications.
With Bluetooth connectivity and CertSuite PAT, tests can be controlled wirelessly, results stored in the cloud and reports generated. The software includes a one-year licence, after which a paid subscription is required.
The instruments perform protective conductor continuity testing, insulation resistance measurement, leakage current testing and portable RCD testing. For sensitive electronic equipment, a 250 V insulation test option is available. Automatic test sequences simplify testing and reduce the need for manual configuration.
The PAT250SX and PAT250SRX offer the same test functions. The main difference is that the PAT250SRX can recharge NiMH batteries directly in the instrument, while the PAT250SX uses replaceable AA batteries.
